About Us
Set in 200 acres of verdant rolling countryside on the edge of London, Sewardstone Park Cemetery spans across 70 acres offering a tranquil and timeless resting place. Our caring team and spectacular grounds provide a peaceful, welcoming haven to visit, reflect and remember.
I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your unwavering support and going above and beyond to assist us in laying our mum to rest over the weekend. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we cannot speak highly enough about you and your team.
Our cemetery is divided into two separate resting places; Daws Meadow and the Garden of Firdaus. We invite you to explore this special place, where each visit promises our warm welcome and the opportunity for peaceful remembrance.
Daws Meadow
Daws Meadow offers a tranquil and unique burial ground for both local communities and those from London and Essex. Experience a peaceful haven just moments away from the city, where you can encounter wild fallow deer and roebuck.
Garden of Firdaus
The Garden of Firdaus is a serene burial ground spread across five acres, offering breathtaking views of the varied landscape of London. This tranquil space exclusively reserves burial plots for individuals practicing the Islamic faith, ensuring their respectful positioning facing the Qibla direction.
Memorials
All the memorials available at Sewardstone are made of wood and can be obtained from the cemetery. We offer a selection of memorials that align with our environment's natural beauty, aiming to create an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere overall.
We are here to provide continuous guidance and support throughout the process, working closely with you and your chosen funeral director we ensure that all your desires are fulfilled seamlessly and with utmost sensitivity.
