A well-chosen memorial provides a physical connection to the life and cherished memories of those we have loved and lost.

At Sewardstone Park Cemetery we are pleased to offer a range of thoughtful and unique memorials to our families. These range from a simple wooden post to a more elaborate engraved plaque or even a memorial bench. We also offer a variety of living memorials.

Our full plots for burial or cremation urns can be marked with a wooden memorial post or an engraved plaque. These can of course be personalised to your wishes.

Memorial Plaques

Our experienced team can advise on the design and placement of your memorial plaque. We will help you consider the location of the plaque and if it is to be a standalone item.

We offer a range of designs and materials to reflect the loved one you are memorialising. We can also advise on wording and how best to personalise it to reflect the sentiments of the loved one’s family.

Memorial Bench

Our timeless wooden memorial benches are much appreciated by our visitors and present a thoughtful way of remembering a loved one. These really are a special place for family and friends to gather or simply to rest and reflect on memories.

We offer the opportunity to dedicate a memorial plaque on one of our shared benches or to buy a private bench for use in our family gardens.

Living Memorials

In keeping with the idyllic location and natural setting of Sewardstone Park Cemetery, we offer a thoughtful range of living memorials to encourage and provide habitats for local wildlife. Where planting allows, we can install bird, bee or bat boxes. We can also place a dedicated wildlife box for you in one of our woodland copses.

All our eco-friendly memorials are crafted from renewable forestry and sourced in-house. Our carefully chosen range keeps in mind the natural beauty of our surroundings and the legacy we choose to leave. Should you prefer a bespoke option, our woodcarvers would be happy to discuss a design with you.
